Is the OnePlus 7 Pro worth it?

Ever since OnePlus launched their 7 series, both the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, it has made several technology pundits, as well as/especially me wonder if OnePlus 7 Pro is the right phone to buy? The OnePlus 7 Pro has been launched for INR 48,999 / USD 669, whereas the regular OnePlus 7 is priced at INR 32,999 / USD 499 (yet to go on sale in the US). This price point is historically reserved for the flagships that OnePlus had originally set out to 'kill' (Re: Flagship Killer ) with the original OnePlus One being priced at INR 21,999 / USD 349, offering comparable specifications and quality as those offered by the top of the line flagships from Samsung, Huawei and the Google Nexus/Pixel! Fast forward to 2019, and OnePlus has become the kind of company where they are just trying to capitalise on the brand name that they have worked for, in all these years and apart from the Dash/Warp Charging feature on the phones, there is no real innovation from OnePlus. Each year...

What to know to setup a new firm

Setting up a new firm Checklist to keep in mind while setting up a new business/start-up: 1.     Make sure you have a properly drafted business plan – This is extremely important since after a while you would need to go back to basics and look back at what it was that you wanted to do as a firm, what is your company fundamental and why did you start off the business in the first place. a.     A raw plan with a lot of detail is anyday better than a strong idea with no detail. b.     A business plan has components describing the whole answers to what, why, where, when and how of the business. 2.     Registering a company – Initially the whole setup of the company and registering the firm with the legalities of the system gets over whelming for the majority of people. Let me give you some pointers from my own experience on where you could water-down your company registration: a.     Start off your firm with just a n...

My review of WrestleMania 35 - The best Mania in years where dreams came true!

My review of WrestleMania 35: Oh, what an event it was, probably the first WrestleMania or any WWE event I had been excited about in the longest time! The men’s and women’s title matches were built up perfectly and the whole event came around in the best manner possible, and the show of shows lived up to the hype and delivered more than what I expected it to! As the crowds started pouring into the MetLife Stadium, the pre-show started with the 205 Live’s main title defense, the WWE Cruiserweight championship being defended, which was followed by the men’s and women’s battle royals. Nothing exciting here as such, but there was one other match on the pre-show which was a last minute setup for the WWE Raw Men’s Tag Team Championship, with the champs – The Revival aka #FTR defending against Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins (Major brothers!); and guess what? The team of Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins won! Curt Hawkins had a losing streak of 269 losses with 0 wins, which had started back in 2017! Th...

Wrestlemania 35 predictions

My predictions for the show of shows, WWE Wrestlemania 35 due to be held in NY/NJ at the MetLife Stadium on April 7, 2019. 1          Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins; Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship Brock Lesnar is the beast incarnate who does not seem to be defeatable by anyone, Seth Rollins has one up against the beast at Wrestlemania 31, when SR cashed in his MITB contract for the WWE Championship. What could have been a perfect build up has been a lacklustre one, all thanks to the part time status of the beast, Brock Lesnar who has been carrying around the Universal title on his shoulder for the better portion of the last 2 years, having first won it after defeating Goldberg at Wrestlemania 33, in 2017. With the top title missing from the so-called flagship show for such a long time, I guess Raw misses its champion and its about time that it got a full-time superstar as a champion. My prediction here would be the Beast/King Slayer who need...

Why you should all watch pro-wrestling (WWE)!

So I have always been a big fan of professional wrestling, especially WWE, having fallen in love during a segment of #RawIsWar back in the late 90s, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appearing as well, as Shawn Michaels and Triple H. This was my way to escape the reality of life that I had back then, fast forward Summerslam 2002, seeing the build up to The Rock vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship was an amazing experience. I watched the WWE programming on and off during this time, since my cousins were hooked to it, and whenever I used to try to switch on to it, there would be some scantily-clad women (it was the era of the bra and panties matches) in the ring, and used to feel embarrassed since my Mom/Dad would happen to pass-by every now and then. A few more years would pass, and my friends in school were really rooting for 2 up and coming WWE superstars, who were due to main event, Wrestlemania 21; and many of you might have guessed it right, these were, John Cen...
